Cupertino Effect is a fundamentally new, non-intrusive autocorrector that works in every app.  

We prioritize on-the-fly error correction that just works and doesnt bother you. We are interested only in autocorrections that increase your typing speed.

Unlike other autocorrectors, Cupertino Effect works not only with a dictionary, but it recognizes and corrects combinations of letters and characters that are unacceptable for the English language. Cupertino also analyzes common mistype patterns when working with text, thus reducing the number of false positives.

We decided to abandon the “principle of 100 percent”. The app wont fix every unfamiliar word, as it often creates further problems and annoyances. We avoid the famous “Cupertino Effect”, which occurs when a spell checker erroneously tries to “fix” correct words that are not in its dictionary.

Cupertino Effect is not an AI and doesnt try to guess what you think :)

It is not intended to solve all typing problems completely, our goal is to help and speed up work where possible. Cupertino makes a replacement only when there are no other options, without trying to choose a word from 3 or 5 possible corrections.
